About the event
Have you ever wanted to spin your own yarn? You will learn how to prepare your roving and how to make yarn using a drop spindle. Drop spindles can be made out of a variety of materials. We will be using a drop spindle made out of tinker toys. It actually works very well. Even though we are using tinker toys, the class is for adults over 18. The class and materials are free. Please contact Kathy Oliver for more information and to sign up at 434-645-9594.
This class is Part 2 in learning how to spin. For those ready, the next step is plying. But everyone welcome!!!
